Job Description: International Community Schools (ICS) Al Falah City is seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Teacher to join our academic team, specialising in Cycles 2 and 3. The successful candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the American curriculum. The teacher will guide and support students in primary and middle school, helping them achieve academic success and develop a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum standards, ensuring the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of students.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and explore.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents, and implementing individualised strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful classroom culture that promotes inclusivity and positive behaviour.
- Actively participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
- Support extracurricular activities and contribute to school events as needed.

- Strong understanding of the American curriculum and ability to adapt it to meet students' needs in an international context.
- Expertise in developing and organizing engaging lesson plans that are clear, focused, and achievable within the academic year.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficiency in English is required, with a preference for native level or near-native-level English speakers.
